Job summary

Hawkins, Inc. is seeking a Process Technician to operate production equipment safely to meet production volumes and quality standards.

The role requires knowledge of process operation, adherence to SOPs, and the ability to handle chemical materials and equipment with care. Qualified candidates will have a high school diploma or equivalent and at least 6 months of chemical operator experience, plus forklift capability and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Minimum of 6 months experience as a chemical operator or equivalent.
• Forklift operation capability is required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
• Ability to understand and communicate complex technical procedures.

Responsibilities

• Know the equipment and process operation; handle, store, transfer, and transport chemical material; operate, monitor.
• Control continuous and batch processes; manual and automated operation; adjust variables per SOPs.
• Communicate compliance, safety, and equipment needs as identified.
• Accurately fill out paperwork and record operating data and environmental reports.
• Provide routine minor maintenance to process equipment and instrumentation.
• Adhere to product quality and safety standards; report safety incidents as required.
• Operate safely and independently while following SOPs and regulations.
• Perform other related duties as needed.
