Job summary

Qualifications include a high school diploma, at least 6 months of operator experience, forklift operation ability, and good communication skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 6 months experience as a chemical operator or equivalent.
• Ability to safely operate an industrial forklift.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to communicate and understand (both written and verbal) complex and/or technical operations and procedures.
• Basic computer skills and knowledge of MS Office; prior MRP or ERP experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Knowing the equipment and process operation; handle, store, transfer, and transport chemical material; operate, monitor.
• Control continuous and batch processes; manual and automated operation of the process per SOPs.
• Communicate compliance, safety, and equipment needs as identified.
• Fill out required paperwork including process conditions, test results, instrument readings, shipping/receiving paperwork, plant data sheets, etc.
• Provide routine minor maintenance to process equipment and instrumentation.
• Apply product quality and safety standards and report any product safety incidents.
• Safely operate independently while adhering to all SOPs and environmental, safety regulations.
• Perform other miscellaneous related duties, as needed.
