Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 6+ months experience as a chemical operator or equivalent.
• Ability to safely operate an industrial forklift.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to understand and communicate complex technical operations and procedures.
• Basic MS Office skills; MRP/ERP experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Know the equipment and process operation; handle, store, transfer, and transport chemical material; operate, monitor.
• Control continuous and batch processes; manual and automated operation per SOPs.
• Communicate compliance, safety, and equipment needs as identified.
• Accurately fill out required paperwork including process data, test results, instrument readings, shipping/receiving paperwork, plant data sheets, environmental reports, inventory sheets, inspection reports.
• Provide routine minor maintenance to process equipment and instrumentation.
• Adhere to product quality and safety standards and report any incidents.
• Operate independently while adhering to SOPs and environmental, safety, and health regulations.
• Perform other duties as needed.
