UBE C1 Chemicals America is seeking dependable Process Operators to join our Waggaman, Louisiana operation. You will safely operate process equipment, monitor production systems, maintain quality standards, and support plant reliability.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience in chemical plant, refinery, petrochemical, manufacturing, industrial, or process-operations.
• Able to complete required operator training and qualification programs.
• Able to read and understand operating procedures, safety information, SDSs, process documentation, and equipment instructions.
• Basic computer skills.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability.
• Able to work safely around hazardous chemicals and industrial equipment.
• Able to work rotating shifts, weekends, holidays, and overtime as required.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Must possess, or be able to obtain and maintain, a TWIC.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate chemical processing and production equipment.
• Monitor process conditions, instrumentation, alarms, temperatures, pressures, flows, and chemical levels.
• Perform equipment inspections and identify abnormal operating conditions.
• Follow standard operating procedures, safety procedures, environmental requirements, and quality standards.
• Conduct equipment startups, shutdowns, lineups, transfers, and process changes as trained.
• Collect samples and perform routine process or quality checks.
• Maintain accurate operating logs, production records, and shift documentation.
• Respond to process upsets, equipment problems, and emergency conditions.
