Balchem Corporation in Louisiana seeks a shift operator to assure continuous operation of the liquid choline plant and associated site equipment, while upholding high safety, quality, and environmental standards.

The role requires monitoring flows, handling materials, responding to alarms, and performing basic maintenance. You will work with the plant team on safety, logs, and project tasks to improve operations.

Competenze

• Manufacturing experience preferred.
• Forklift experience preferred.
• Ability to follow oral and written instructions; good communication skills; math calculations.

Mansioni

• Operate the continuous batch system on assigned shift.
• Monitor and adjust flow rates of reactants, steam and water.
• Unload raw materials and load finished product while wearing PPE.
• Respond to alarms and maintain logs and readings.
• Perform minor maintenance and assist during plant shutdowns.
• Train new employees on shift responsibilities.
