Job summary

OmniTRAX, Inc. is seeking a Transload Operator in Tulsa, OK to safely load and unload frac sand between truck, rail and silo at our transload facility.

You will operate equipment, inspect and troubleshoot assets, and keep precise records while upholding safety and quality standards. The role requires strong attention to detail, the ability to work independently, and effective communication with drivers and colleagues.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Prior forklift experience.
• Operate machinery and perform basic mechanical service and repairs.
• Understand and comply with procedures pertaining to emergencies.
• Work cooperatively with superiors and other employees.
• Focused and detail oriented: complete quality work timely.
• Self-motivated; carry out tasks independently to meet deadlines and company/customer expectations.
• Basic computer skills.
• Write legibly to complete routine reports and other work documents.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; effectively communicate with all level of employees and business associates in a clear, concise and professional manner.

Responsibilities

• Safely load and unload frac sand between truck, rail and silo.
• Operate rail car movers, RBTs or Wilson’s on site.
• Inspect and troubleshoot equipment; perform minor repairs and routine maintenance.
• Report verbally and in writing; maintain accurate records: activity, inventory, incidents, violations, maintenance, etc.
• Direct truck drivers to loading areas; operate truck scales and prepare Bills of Ladings.
• Follow all company and facility policies and procedures pertaining to job function and safety.
• Participate in keeping the facility and equipment clean and maintained.
• Monitor third parties performing work at the facility.
• Recommend changes to improve safety, cost savings and efficiency.
