BlueLinx Holdings Inc. is seeking a reliable Material Handler / Forklift Operator to pull customer orders and handle lumber materials in a safety-focused warehouse environment.

The role involves operating forklifts, loading/unloading materials, and preparing orders for shipment. We offer a fixed wage of $22.00 per hour, a stable daytime schedule, and a benefits package including health, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance.

Qualifications

• Warehouse or lumberyard experience preferred.
• Ability to operate a forklift or willingness to be trained and certified.
• Comfortable working outdoors and indoors in varying weather conditions.
• Strong attention to detail — accuracy matters in this role.

Responsibilities

• Accurately pull customer orders using forklifts, side-loaders, or other warehouse equipment.
• Load and unload building materials including lumber, plywood, and other wood products.
• Prepare orders for shipment, ensuring correct labeling, packaging, and staging.
• Safely move products throughout the warehouse and yard; maintain cleanliness and organization.
• Assist with inventory counts, cycle counts, and stock rotation.
• Follow all safety protocols and company policies.
