Job summary

Recology is seeking a Commercial Truck Driver to operate assigned vehicles safely and efficiently while maintaining strong customer relations across service areas. The role emphasizes adherence to safety and regulatory standards, with routine vehicle inspections and careful loading of materials.

The position requires CDL, a valid medical card, and the ability to work nights, weekends, or holidays as needed.

Qualifications

• One year of commercial driving experience; two years preferred.
• Knowledge of safety practices, job site hazards, and local waste regulations.
• Ability to use basic computer programs.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily safety checks and pre-trip inspections.
• Apply safety measures consistently for vehicle operation.
• Operate vehicle in service areas in a timely, efficient manner.
• Load materials per procedures and report violations to supervisor.
• Ensure hazardous materials are not accepted beyond limits and comply with load restrictions.
• Report accidents or safety violations promptly.
• Maintain positive customer relations and support the company image.
