Job summary

LeoForce seeks an experienced Safety Director in Chicago to lead the development and execution of our in-house safety program for a growing general contracting team.

The role requires 5+ years in construction safety, OSHA 30, and the ability to travel nationwide. We offer a competitive base salary, lucrative bonus structure, strong benefits, 401k match, maternity/paternity leave, and generous PTO.

Qualifications

• 5+ years as Safety Manager in construction
• Located in Chicagoland area with ability to travel nationally
• Experience in a safety role within a construction company
• OSHA 30 certification
• Commercial & Industrial experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular site inspections to identify hazards and ensure regulatory compliance
• Develop, implement, and maintain the Project Safety Plan
• Provide safety training and awareness programs for site personnel
• Investigate incidents to identify causes and prevent recurrence
• Ensure safety equipment is in good working order and available
• Maintain records of safety activities and incidents
• Liaise with OSHA and other regulators and stay updated on new safety standards
• Implement emergency procedures and conduct drills
• Promote a positive safety culture across the organization

Responsibilities

• 1. Conducting regular site inspections to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
