This leadership role requires developing division-wide safety programs, mentoring safety personnel, and partnering with senior leadership to maintain consistent safety standards across the organization.

The ideal candidate has 10–12+ years of EH&S experience in commercial construction, a background with GC/MEP work, and CHST or ASP

We’re working with a leading contractor looking to add an experienced Division Safety Manager to oversee safety operations across multiple commercial construction projects. This is a division-level leadership position responsible for managing safety personnel, driving compliance, developing safety programs, and partnering with senior leadership to maintain consistent safety standards across the organization.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Oversee safety operations, audits, inspections, and compliance across multiple projects and jobsites.
• Develop, implement, and maintain division-wide safety policies, procedures, training programs, and documentation.
• Serve as the primary safety resource for division leadership, project managers, superintendents, and field teams.
• Manage, mentor, and develop safety personnel, including staffing, performance management, and hiring.
• Lead incident investigations, identify trends, and implement corrective actions to prevent future occurrences.
• Monitor jobsite safety performance and hold project teams accountable for maintaining safety standards.
• Provide guidance on specialized activities, including critical crane lifts, confined space entries, and other high-risk operations.
• Partner with senior leadership on safety strategy, program development, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Support safety planning for upcoming projects and potential acquisitions.

What We’re Looking For:

• Background in commercial MEP construction or with a General Contractor (GC) is required.
• 10–12+ years of EH&S experience within the commercial construction industry.
• Previous experience managing safety programs across multiple projects or a division.
• CHST or ASP certification is required.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA, NFPA, EPA, and DOT regulations and construction safety best practices.
• Proven leadership experience managing, developing, and overseeing safety personnel.
• Strong understanding of commercial construction operations, jobsite safety, and field execution.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively with field personnel, project leadership, and executives.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and safety management software/platforms.
