Job summary

EK Services Inc. is seeking a Safety Coordinator in New Cumberland, PA to lead our field safety program, ensure regulatory compliance, and engage employees in safe work practices.

You will coordinate OSHA, DOT, and FMCSA training, track incidents, and support the Safety Director and HR in maintaining a proactive safety culture. The role requires proactive safety leadership, ability to travel, and a background in construction safety with relevant certifications.

Qualifications

• Preferred 2-3 years of construction safety experience including heavy equipment, excavation/trenching, rigging and lifting, and confined space entry.
• Experience creating Job Hazard Analyses (JHA) is preferred.
• Knowledge of Ground Alliance and PA-1 Call regulations.

Responsibilities

• Influence behavior to ensure compliance with safety standards and a safe work environment.
• Assist in training and coaching associates on observed work habits.
• Coordinate safety training related to OSHA, DOT, and FMCSA; work with Safety Director and HR.
• Manage safety records including OSHA 300 logs and incident investigations; file reports with insurers.
