Job summary

Arrow Mirror & Glass is seeking an experienced Safety Coordinator in Houston, TX to implement OSHA guidelines, maintain a safe working environment and help prevent injuries. You will develop and deliver safety programs, assess risks, and report on incidents for management review.

The role requires 2–4 years in a safety-related position, strong communication, and the ability to travel to other branches to promote safety culture. Schedule is Mon-Fri with some travel. Bilingual Spanish is a plus.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years of experience as a Safety Supervisor or similar role.
• Experience with OSHA guidelines and safety programs.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to plan and present safety training.
• Experience with risk assessment and incident reporting.

Responsibilities

• Plans and implements OSHA policies and programs.
• Conduct risk assessment of work environment and enforce preventative measures.
• Prepare and present reports on accidents and violations and determine causes to Management.
• Oversee workplace repair, installations and any other work that could harm employees’ safety.
• Prepare educational seminars and webinars on a regular basis.
• Travel to other branches to promote a Safety Awareness Culture.
• Accident Reporting and Insurance Claims on Manufacturing Plant and Fleet.
