Site Safety Coordinator - Houston, TX Contract Houston , Texas Contract Sep 10, 2026

FDRsafety is seeking a Site Safety Coordinator to oversee a 3-monthproject near Houston, TX. This position is anticipated to start immediatelyand will be scheduled to work on a Monday-Friday, 40-hour/week, day shift schedule with the potential for overtime. This person will be responsible for maintaining a safe work environment by auditing safety performance, revising safety policies and procedures as needed, and safety training for a single site location. Requirements:

• Associate's Degree, Safety or related field, OSHA 10 certification and/or OSHA 30 General Industry certification required. A combination of minimum and preferred experience with some education will be considered.
• 3-5 years of Safety Experience or related discipline within a manufacturing setting is required.
• Previous consumer products industry preferred.
• Strong PC skills including a high level of proficiency in Word, Excel & PowerPoint
• Knowledge of OSHA, DOT, and Hazardous Material management concepts and techniques
• Ability to train and educate employees on safety, OSHA, and DOT management concepts.
• Highly organized with the ability to handle confidential information in a discreet manner.
• Ability to function independently and take the initiative until activities are complete.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
• Proven analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to function under pressure while handling multiple assignments with various
  deadlines.
• Ability to Bend/stoop, sit, lift, squat, walk, crouch, reach, and operate keyboard/calculator
  are required.
• Must be able to pass a Motor Vehicles Records check.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.
