We have a client in Louisville, KY, that has an immediate need for a Safety Coordinator Manager responsible for the safe, accurate, and timely implementation of safety training, following all applicable protocols including OSHA 1926 and MSHA 48B for all field employees.

Responsibilities include:

1. 5+ years of leadership in Safety within a Construction or Industrial setting.
2. OSHA 1926 and/or MSHA 48B instructor cards preferred or achievable within 3-5 years.
3. Execute periodic OSHA & MSHA training for new hire candidates and existing crew refresher courses.
4. Provide input to sales in the job quoting process to ensure adequate safety considerations are met.
5. Maintain third-party safety training compliance sites (ISNet, Avetta, Gatefeed, TappiSafe, etc.).
6. Audit district personnel to ensure OSHA & MSHA training compliance.
7. Research, implement, and communicate the most current alerts and guidance from OSHA & MSHA.
8. Travel as necessary to support district job planning, employee training, and audits.
9. Serve as resident expert regarding safety compliance at and customer sites.
10. Manage and control costs of the safety program.
11. Fulfill First Aid and Introductory Rigging training requirements for crew.
12. Identify and maintain an inventory of safety training materials.

Team Structure: Manager overseeing 3 Coordinators.
