Job summary

Henderson Building Solutions is hiring a Safety Coordinator to support mission critical projects across assigned sites in the Washington, DC area. You will help implement safety programs, conduct inspections, and assist in maintaining compliance with safety standards while coordinating training and safety documentation.

This role requires OSHA certification or the ability to obtain it, a relevant degree, and strong communication and teamwork skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in safety, construction mgmt or related field preferred.
• OSHA10/OSHA30 certification required or obtainable within timeframe.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in implementing safety programs, policies, and procedures on projects.
• Support jobsite safety audits, inspections and hazard identifications.
• Monitor compliance with safety standards and report findings.
• Maintain accurate safety documentation and records.
• Coordinate PPE requirements and safety trainings.
• Support safety planning and incident documentation.
