Job summary

Amteck is hiring Traveling Safety Coordinators to oversee safety for electrical trades on each assigned job site. You will conduct safety audits and take appropriate action to address accidents or incidents, while promoting a culture of safety across teams.

Ideal candidates will have extensive OSHA knowledge, experience supervising electrical trades safety, and the ability to lead, influence, and motivate staff to follow procedures on active construction sites.

Qualifications

• Extensive knowledge of OSHA construction safety rules.
• Experience overseeing safety for electrical tradesmen.
• Proven ability to lead, influence, and motivate staff on safety procedures.
• OSHA 10 and/or 30 Hour Certification required; OSHA 500 preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee safety of electrical trades on assigned job sites.
• Perform safety audits and take action for accidents and incidents.
• Travel to multiple job sites as required.

We are currently hiring Traveling Safety Coordinators to join our team. Our Safety Coordinators are responsible for overseeing the safety of all electrical trades on each job site they are assigned to support as well as perform safety audits and take the appropriate course of action for any accidents and/or incidents that occur.

What We Are Looking For

• Extensive knowledge of OSHA rules and regulations in regards to construction
• Prior experience overseeing the safety for electrical tradesmen
• Ability to effectively lead, influence, and motivate staff in regards to safety procedures
• Current OSHA 10 and/or 30 Hour Certification required; OSHA 500 strongly preferred
