Job summary

Amteck is seeking Traveling Safety Coordinators to oversee safety for electrical trades on multiple job sites. You will perform safety audits, enforce procedures, and take corrective actions as needed while supporting a culture of safety and excellence.

Ideal candidates have extensive OSHA knowledge for construction, proven leadership, and current OSHA 10/30 certification (OSHA 500 preferred). This role involves travel and on-site safety leadership across projects.

Qualifications

• Extensive knowledge of OSHA rules and regulations for construction sites.
• Experience overseeing safety for electrical tradesmen.
• Ability to lead, influence, and motivate staff on safety procedures.
• Current OSHA 10 and/or 30 Hour Certification required; OSHA 500 preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee safety of all electrical trades on each assigned job site.
• Perform safety audits and take appropriate action after incidents.
• Contribute to the safety program within an established department.

We are currently hiring Traveling Safety Coordinators to join our team. Our Safety Coordinators are responsible for overseeing the safety of all electrical trades on each job site they are assigned to support as well as perform safety audits and take the appropriate course of action for any accidents and/or incidents that occur.

What We Are Looking For

• Extensive knowledge of OSHA rules and regulations in regards to construction
• Prior experience overseeing the safety for electrical tradesmen
• Ability to effectively lead, influence, and motivate staff in regards to safety procedures
• Current OSHA 10 and/or 30 Hour Certification required; OSHA 500 strongly preferred
