Job summary

Amteck is seeking Traveling Safety Coordinators to oversee safety for electrical trades on assigned job sites, perform safety audits, and respond to accidents. The role requires extensive OSHA knowledge, strong leadership, and experience overseeing safety for electrical tradesmen.

OSHA 10/30 certification is required; OSHA 500 is strongly preferred. Travel will be involved with competitive per diem and benefits.

Qualifications

• Extensive knowledge of OSHA rules and regulations related to construction and electrical trades.
• Ability to lead, influence, and motivate staff on safety procedures.
• Experience overseeing safety for electrical tradesmen on job sites.

Responsibilities

• Oversee safety of all electrical trades on each job site assigned; conduct safety audits.
• Take appropriate actions for accidents/incidents and ensure corrective measures.

We are currently hiring Traveling Safety Coordinators to join our team. Our Safety Coordinators are responsible for overseeing the safety of all electrical trades on each job site they are assigned to support as well as perform safety audits and take the appropriate course of action for any accidents and/or incidents that occur.

What We Are Looking For

• Extensive knowledge of OSHA rules and regulations in regards to construction
• Prior experience overseeing the safety for electrical tradesmen
• Ability to effectively lead, influence, and motivate staff in regards to safety procedures
• Current OSHA 10 and/or 30 Hour Certification required; OSHA 500 strongly preferred
