Job summary

Amteck in Jacksonville, FL is seeking Traveling Safety Coordinators to oversee the safety of electrical trades on each job site and perform safety audits. You will enforce safety procedures and take appropriate action for any accidents or incidents that occur.

Ideal candidates have OSHA 10/30 certifications (OSHA 500 preferred), strong leadership, and the ability to travel across multiple sites. We offer competitive wages, per diem, comprehensive benefits, PTO, and paid holidays.

Qualifications

• Extensive knowledge of OSHA rules and regulations for construction.
• Experience overseeing safety for electrical tradesmen on job sites.
• Ability to lead, influence, and motivate staff on safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Oversee safety of electrical trades on each assigned job site and conduct regular safety audits.
• Lead, instruct, and motivate staff to follow safety procedures.
• Respond to accidents/incidents and implement corrective actions.

We are currently hiring Traveling Safety Coordinators to join our team. Our Safety Coordinators are responsible for overseeing the safety of all electrical trades on each job site they are assigned to support as well as perform safety audits and take the appropriate course of action for any accidents and/or incidents that occur.

What We Are Looking For

• Extensive knowledge of OSHA rules and regulations in regards to construction
• Prior experience overseeing the safety for electrical tradesmen
• Ability to effectively lead, influence, and motivate staff in regards to safety procedures
• Current OSHA 10 and/or 30 Hour Certification required; OSHA 500 strongly preferred
