Job summary

Qualifications

• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in safety or related field preferred.
• OSHA 10/30 certification preferred.
• First Aid, CPR and AED certifications are a plus.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and mobile tech.

Responsibilities

• Conduct safety orientations and onboarding training for new employees, temporary associates, contractors, and visitors.
• Observe employee work behaviors and provide real-time coaching for safety improvements.
• Partner with leaders to reinforce safe practices and drive injury prevention.
• Deliver classroom and hands-on safety training on PPE, hazard communication, ergonomics, and more.
• Perform daily inspections, audits, and ensure OSHA compliance.
• Assist with incident investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective actions.
• Create shift pass-downs highlighting safety trends and actions.
• Support emergency preparedness activities and EHS program initiatives.
• Drive employee engagement through safety observations and recognition.
