Job summary

Miller Valentine is seeking a Safety Coordinator Co-op to support the Safety Department and EHS Program Manager by coordinating key safety processes, maintaining organized records, supporting department communications, and assisting with safety program initiatives. This role requires strong organizational skills and the ability to work with Procore and Microsoft Office in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to collaborate with Safety Team

Qualifications

• Experience in administrative, safety support, construction support, project coordination, or related role preferred.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams).
• Experience with Procore preferred.
• Ability to maintain accurate records and manage multiple priorities.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with Safety Team members and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Safety Program Administration & Coordination– Provide administrative and operational support to the Safety Department and EHS Program Manager.
• Safety Communication & Reporting– Support the development, organization, and distribution of safety communications and reports.
• Document, Records, & Systems Management– Maintain organized safety records and document libraries, and manage tracking systems.
