Job summary

Miller Valentine is seeking a Safety Coordinator Co-op in Cincinnati, OH, to support the Safety Department and EHS Program Manager. The role emphasizes organized communication, record-keeping, and coordination across projects and safety programs.

Ideal candidates are organized, detail-oriented, and proficient with Microsoft Office; familiarity with Procore is a plus. The position focuses on administrative tasks, safety program support, and continuous improvement within a fast-paced construction

Qualifications

• Experience in administrative, safety support, construction support, project coordination, or related role preferred.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and Teams.
• Experience with Procore preferred.
• Ability to maintain accurate records, track multiple priorities, and support recurring deadlines.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with Safety Team members, project teams, and other internal stakeholders.
• Interest in construction safety, safety program support, and continuous improvement preferred

Responsibilities

• Coordinate safety program administration and events, including training and site visits.
• Support safety communications, reports, meeting agendas/minutes, and surveys.
• Maintain safety records, binders, and document libraries; manage folders.
• Update safety workflows in Procore and distribute incident information.
• Coordinate PPE and boot voucher issuance and Safety Day materials.
• Support process improvements and special safety projects.
