Job summary

Miller Valentine is seeking a Safety Coordinator Co-op to assist the Safety Department and EHS Program Manager. This role emphasizes organizational skills, record-keeping, and coordination across projects and recurring safety activities.

The ideal candidate will work closely with Safety Team members, project teams, and internal stakeholders, utilizing Microsoft Office and Procore to support incident reporting and communications.

Qualifications

• Experience in administrative, safety support, construction support, project coordination, or related role preferred.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and Teams.
• Experience with Procore preferred.
• Ability to maintain accurate records, track multiple priorities, and support recurring deadlines.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Safety Program Administration & Coordination – Provide administrative and operational support to the Safety Department and EHS Program Manager.
• Safety Communication & Reporting – Support the development, organization, and distribution of safety communications and reports.
• Document, Records, & Systems Management – Maintain organized safety records and document libraries.
• Safety Technology & Process Support – Maintain safety workflows in company systems and Procore.
• Program Logistics & Resource Management – Coordinate PPE and boot voucher issuance and safety events.
• Continuous Improvement & Team Support – Collaborate to implement process improvements across safety programs.
