Essential Job Duties & Responsibilities:




    Review contracts between the corporation and clients for compliance with terms.
  • Inspect the facility to identify safety, health and environmental risks.
  • Develops and implements inspection policies and procedures, and a schedule of routine inspections.
  • Develop health and safety procedures for all areas of the company.
  • Ensure compliance of individual subsidiaries with all local, State, and Federal Environmental, OSHA, DOT, and FMSCA standards.
  • Monitors compliance with safety procedures.
  • Drafts inspection reports to document inspection findings.
  • Ensures that material safety data sheets are maintained and readily accessible when needed.
  • Maintains records of discharge of employee exposure to hazardous waste and/or pollutants, as required.
  • Stay informed of an upcoming change to standards in Environmental, OSHA, DOT and FMSCA standards that influence the corporation and its operations.
  • Collaborate with HQ on implementing and maintaining platform standards, policies and procedures.
  • Work with 3rd party consultants in areas of work responsibility.
  • Prepares and schedules training to cover emergency procedures, workplace safety, and other relevant topics.
  • Participate in steering committees within the corporation.
  • All other duties as assigned.

As the guardian of safety standards and environmental stewardship within our organization, the Safety Coordinator plays a pivotal role in ensuring the health, safety, and sustainability of our operations.

They are responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive safety and environmental compliance programs for both the field and office safety operations, fostering a culture of safety consciousness, and proactively addressing environmental risks and challenges.






Qualifications (Experience, Education & Certifications, Key Attributes):




Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Extensive knowledge of environmental regulations and policies.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficient in technology and equipment used in environmental inspections.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelors degree in Environmental Safety, Occupational Safety and Health, or related field desirable.
  • Two years of related experience preferred.
