Job summary

Arrow Glass Industries is seeking an experienced Safety Coordinator to implement OSHA policies and educate staff, ensuring a safe working environment across our Texas plants. You will drive risk assessments, incident reporting, and safety training, with occasional travel to other branches.

The role requires 2–4 years of safety supervision experience, strong communication, and proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years of experience as a Safety Supervisor or similar role.
• Experience in implementing OSHA policies and programs.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Inspecting lifting equipment, determining repairs, and estimating costs.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint & Excel).
• Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus.

Summary: We are looking for an experienced and responsible Safety Coordinator to join our team. As a Safety Coordinator, you will be responsible for facilitating the education and compliance OSHA (Occupational Safety & Health Administration) Guidelines. Your main goal will be to always ensure a safety-working environment and assist in preventing any injuries and accidents.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Plans and implements OSHA policies and programs
• Conduct Risk Assessment of work environment and enforce preventative measures
• Prepare and present reports on accidents and violations and determine causes to Management

Safety Coordinator Qualifications/Skills:

• Effectively utilizing computer software such as Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint & Excel).

Education:

Degree/Certificate in HSE (Health, Safety & Environment) and/or OSHA30

Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus

Schedule:

Mon-Fri (7am-4pm) Traveling Required 10-15%
