Job summary

Core-Mark is hiring for an Administrative Safety Support role in Shepherdsville, KY. Pay is $19-$22 per hour, Monday to Friday, 8am to 4:30pm, with a benefits package starting Day 1.

The position supports the Safety Manager by monitoring and reporting risk management programs, collecting required information, and coordinating training and audits to ensure compliance. Candidates should have a HS diploma and data handling experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent experience.
• 6+ months of experience in warehouse/distribution environment.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams).
• Administrative work experience handling large amounts of data, spreadsheets, web-based systems/portals and customer support related activities.

Responsibilities

• May assist with safety incident/accident investigations, documentation and reporting.
• Prepares, maintains and distributes reports on a periodic basis for all safety programs (OSHA, CS STARs, safety committees, etc.).
• Assists with online training program (Perform) including maintaining schedule and assigning safety training.
• Assists with DOT compliance activities, including reports, follow-up and data gathering for audits and random testing.
• Understands and enforces compliance with all Company safety policies and procedures.

Position Summary:

Responsible for administrative and safety related support activities, under the direction of the Safety Manager, to monitor, administer, implement, maintain and report on the location's risk management, safety, and related compliance programs. Works closely with safety manager, as directed, through meetings, emails and phone calls to ensure that all required information is collected and reported accurately and timely.

Position Responsibilities:

• May assist with safety incident/accident investigations, documentation and reporting.
• Prepares, maintains and distributes reports, as assigned, on a periodic basis for all safety programs, including newsletters, DriveCam, Perform training, Driver's Alert, OSHA, CS STARs, safety committees, worker's comp, audits and others as needed.
• Assists with online training program (Perform), including maintaining schedule and assigning safety training, preparing reports, and assisting operating company personnel with questions. May provide support during new hire safety orientation.
• Assists with DOT compliance activities, including reports, follow-up and gathering data for audits, MVR process, FADV compliance, random testing, post injury/accident testing and related programs/processes.
• Understands and enforces compliance with all Company safety policies and procedures. May be involved in providing associate training to ensure compliance with all related programs and policies.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
