Job Description

A safety officer is responsible for ensuring that the workplace is safe and healthy for its employees.

Responsibilities:

• Ensures that employees follow safety regulations through site walks.
• Conducts on-site training on safety procedures and tool certification.
• Ensures that HACI safety programs are effective and compliant.
• Maintains compliance with OSHA standards.
• Investigates incidents and reports safety issues.
• Conducts safety training for new hires.
• Attends job-specific meetings and learning sessions to represent HACI.

Job Requirements

• Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
• Ability to walk and climb stairs for extended periods, especially in summer heat.
• 5+ years of construction safety or related experience.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Basic experience with MS Office.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish (read and write).
• Ability to pass drug screening, physical exam, and background check.
