Job Summary

The Safety Coordinator is responsible for safety, on-the-job training, and quality activities at the station. The goal is to reduce employee injuries, aircraft, and equipment damages. The Safety Coordinator also serves as a subject matter expert on processes, systems, and procedures as defined by the Director of Safety/Training.

The expected pay rate is $19.75/hr. Full-time employees are eligible for health and wellness benefits, a 401(k) plan with company match, paid vacation, sick leave, and holidays.

Your Activities

• Guide safety procedures for fueling equipment and company vehicles in aircraft gate parking or restricted visibility areas.
• Prepare aircraft with fueling equipment such as ladders or stands for fueling operations.
• Support the removal of fueling equipment when necessary.
• Assist fueling operations during aircraft fueling processes.
• Provide materials like fuel tickets and electronic equipment to fueling staff upon request.
• Transport fueling staff using company vehicles.
• Operate company support vehicles following safety policies and procedures.
• Adhere to all airport, customer, and company driving regulations.

Your Profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid New York State Driver's License.

• Ability to work in teams with minimal supervision.
