Safety Coordinator

Milan, IL - Full Time

Productive Resources (www.productiveresources.com) is seeking a candidate to join our engineering team at John Deere's facility in Milan, Illinois. The selected candidate will be an entry-level safety professional with understanding of safety principles and the ability to independently apply this knowledge to ensure compliance with regulatory and company standards for injury and illness reporting.

This full-time position offers indefinite employment with opportunities for professional growth and advancement within our organization.

Duties:

• Support the 1st shift Safety team and provide coverage for half of the 2nd shift operation.
• Conduct accident, incident, and near-miss investigations, collaborating with relevant parties to develop and implement corrective actions.
• Assist in developing John Deere required and OSHA compliance training, and facilitate deployment of training to the 2nd shift.
• Manage mobile equipment certifications and maintain certification tracking.
• Serve as a resource for risk identification, auditing, and control for the 2nd shift NAPDC operation.

Requirements:

• Experience in warehousing or manufacturing environments with a strong safety background.
• Safety Degree and/or significant manufacturing safety experience.
• Proficiency in MS Office suite.

Certifications:

• CSP accreditation preferred.
