A family-owned transportation company in Lexington, Kentucky is looking for a Safety Coordinator. The ideal candidate will have 5 years of experience in CDL operations and must pass background and drug screenings as required by federal law. This is a full-time position offering benefits after 30 days of employment, including medical, vision, dental, and paid vacation/sick time. Training will be provided at their Lexington location, with a contingent offer until training is completed.

Overview

Gold Shield Transportation, a Family‑Owned Business for over 41 years, is currently interviewing candidates for a Safety Coordinator Position in the Lexington, Kentucky area.

Qualifications

• 5 years Experience in the CDL (Passenger Carrier) Operations/Compliance Field.
• Must successfully pass a Lifetime Federal Background Check, Pre‑Employment Drug and Alcohol Screen and submit to Random Drug and Alcohol Testing as Required by Federal Law.

Additional Requirements

Valid Passport required for travel into Canada.

Fleet

We maintain a fleet of newer PREVOST H3‑45s, Volvo 9700s and MCI J4500s.

Training & Employment

PAID Training will be provided at our Indianapolis, Indiana or Lexington, Kentucky location. A contingent Offer of Employment will be given until you have satisfactorily passed all training requirements & have met the company requirements for employment.

Benefits

This is a Full‑Time position. Benefits will start after 30 days employment. Medical/Vision/Dental/Paid Vacation/Sick Time accrue.
