Role Responsibilities:

We are seeking a Safety Coordinator in Lake Norden, SD, to:

• Provide training and coaching to ensure safety standards and awareness are well understood organization-wide.
• Assist Safety Manager with compliance training on OSHA and DOT regulations.
• Ensure facilities comply with OSHA, federal, state/local safety guidelines, and organization safety standards.
• Work hours: Monday-Friday 8am-5pm, with weekends as needed.
• Double pay on Sundays and holidays.

Qualifications:

• Minimum two (2) years of experience in a similar manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of First Aid, Confined Space entry, LOTO, Process Safety Management; classroom instruction experience preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, and field-specific software.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively at all levels in a collaborative, professional environment.
• Fluent in English communication.
• Ability to stand and move around for extended periods.
• Equivalent education and/or experience may be considered.
