Job description

Qualifications:

• 1-3 Years of Experience as a safety professional
• OSHA 30hr Certification

• Proficient in health and safety management systems; OSHA CFR 1926 standards or the state construction safety regulations
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
• Ability to pass BC Check

Preferred Qualifications:

• OSHA 500 Certification
• Bachelor’s degree in Safety, Health, Environmental Sciences, or related discipline
• CHST Certification

Day-to-day Responsibilities:

• Inspect the battery plant project in Kansas to ensure compliance with OSHA, company, and state safety regulations.
• Report safety concerns to management and ensure safety standards are maintained.
• Document safety inspections, identify hazards, and recommend corrective actions.
• Maintain safety documentation including accident reports, inspection reports, and training logs; review daily job hazard logs and respond accordingly.
