Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety, EHS, Emergency Management, Risk Management, Fire Science, or related field.
• Strong communication skills with the confidence to lead training sessions.
• Organized, proactive, and able to manage multiple projects.
• Manufacturing experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and support plant safety programs to maintain a safe working environment.
• Conduct safety audits, inspections, and job hazard analyses.
• Investigate workplace incidents and near misses, identify root causes, and help implement corrective actions.
• Coordinate and deliver safety training, including new hire orientation and OSHA-required training programs.
• Track safety metrics, maintain documentation, and assist with regulatory compliance activities.
• Partner with Engineering, Maintenance, Operations, and HR to improve workplace safety initiatives.
• Spend time on the manufacturing floor coaching employees and reinforcing safe work practices.
• Assist with annual compliance activities, inspections, and continuous improvement projects.
