Job summary

Actalent is seeking an Environmental Specialist for a full-time contract role at a refinery in Billings, MT. You will collect environmental samples, support waste management, oversee cleanup, and ensure safety and regulatory compliance on-site.

Responsibilities include performing inspections, maintaining QA/QC data, and coordinating with plant personnel to drive environmental improvements. The role is on-site with a competitive hourly pay and benefits package.

Qualifications

Work Environment

This role is based on-site at a refinery and involves regular work in field and plant areas. The position requires working around operational equipment, environmental sampling tools, and laboratory-related equipment. The work schedule is full time and may involve varying conditions typical of an industrial facility, including noise, changing weather conditions, and the need to follow established safety procedures and appropriate protective attire.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Billings, MT.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $55.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
