Job summary

SGS Consulting is seeking a safety-focused professional for an onsite 2nd shift role in Illinois. The position requires hands-on safety leadership on the shop floor, with duties including injury investigations and implementing corrective actions to reduce risk.

Ideal candidates will have experience in warehousing or manufacturing environments with OSHA standards knowledge, a safety degree, and the ability to deliver training. CSP is preferred but not required; MS Office proficiency is expected.

Qualifications

• Experience in a warehousing or manufacturing environment with a strong safety background.
• Safety Degree and/or very strong manufacturing safety experience leading accident investigations and corrective actions.
• Ability to develop and deliver safety compliance training.
• Working knowledge of OSHA Standards.
• CSP accreditation – preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Metatarsals are required from day one (not reimbursable).

• Metatarsals are required from day one (not reimbursable)
• This is an Onsite, 2nd Shift position. Hours are Mon-Fri 10:00am – 6:30pm
• This position will be on the shop floor about 50% of the time
