SGS Consulting seeks a safety-focused professional for an onsite 2nd shift role in Springfield, IL. The position emphasizes hazard reduction and compliance in a warehouse/manufacturing setting.

You will investigate incidents, develop corrective actions, deliver safety training, and ensure OSHA standards are followed, with CSP preferred but not required. The role involves hands-on floor work with about 50% shop floor time.

Formación

• Experience in warehousing/manufacturing with a strong safety background.

• Working knowledge of OSHA standards.

Job Responsibilities:

Metatarsals are required from day one (not reimbursable)

This is an Onsite, 2nd Shift position.

Hours are Mon-Fri 10:00am – 6:30pm

This position will be on the shop floor about 50% of the time

Skills:

Experience in a warehousing or manufacturing environment with a strong safety background is required.

Safety Degree and/or very strong manufacturing safety experience leading accident investigations and developing and implementing corrective actions to reduce risk – MUST HAVE

Ability to develop and deliver safety compliance training.

Working knowledge of OSHA Standards.

MS Office suite

CSP accreditation – preferred but not required
