Job summary

E2 Optics, LLC is hiring a Safety Coordinator to support execution and compliance of safety programs across customer locations. The role focuses on driving a safety culture, providing training, and ensuring OSHA compliance in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate has OSHA 30 and 2–3 years of safety experience in construction, with a strong attention to detail and the ability to travel for projects as needed.

Qualifications

• OSHA 30 certification required
• 2–3 years occupational health and safety experience in construction
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
• Willingness to work days, nights and weekends as project requires

Responsibilities

• Support execution, compliance, and enhancement of internal and external safety programs.
• Drive behavior-based safety culture to achieve accident-prevention and loss mitigation at customer locations.
• Provide safety training, instruction and coaching to ensure compliance with applicable regulations.
• Assist Safety Manager with incident investigations, documentation, problem solving and countermeasure implementation.
• Conduct safety audits to review practices and records for OSHA compliance.
• Travel up to 5% as required by the project.

What You'll Do

This position is responsible for supporting execution, compliance, and enhancement of internal and externalsafety programs. Drive behavior-based safety culture to achieve accident-prevention and loss mitigation atE2 Optics customer locations.

• Safety is E2 Optics' number one Core Value.All employees are expected to follow safe work practices, as well as adhere to company and client worksite safety policies and procedures.
• Provides safety and health training, instruction and coaching to ensure compliance with applicable occupational safety and health regulations.
• Assists the Safety Manager with incident/accident investigations, subsequent documentation, problem solving and implementation of countermeasure(s).
• Conducts and/or participates in Safety audits to review practices and records to ensure compliance with relevant H&S programs and OSHA regulations.
• Track, trend and drive structured problem solving for recurring safety issues that prohibit realization of performance targets
• This position is generally expected to require minimal overnight travel (5%). The individual in this role should be able and willing to travel as required by E2 Optics.

What We Are Looking For

• High school diploma required, Associate’s Degree is preferred
• 2-3 years Occupational Health and/or Safety experience in a construction environment.
