Job summary

Cache Creek Casino Resort in Northern California seeks an Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) Compliance Officer to monitor and support compliance with tribal ordinances, regulatory requirements, and internal safety programs. You will conduct inspections, investigate incidents, and coordinate corrective actions to keep gaming and non-gaming areas safe.

Qualifications

• A minimum of two years related experience and/or training in environmental health and safety in a large hospitality/gaming or factory production setting.
• Associates or Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Health and Safety, Business, or a related field; or an equivalent combination of experience and education.
• Program Certificate in Safety Management.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine property-wide and departmental safety inspections across multiple shifts.
• Monitor compliance with Tribal ordinances, compact requirements, and federal/state/local regulations.
• Investigate workplace incidents, perform root cause analysis, and recommend corrective actions.
• Develop, implement, and maintain safety programs, plans, and procedures.
• Coordinate and conduct safety meetings and employee training on health and safety requirements.
