Job summary

Cache Creek Casino Resort in Northern California is seeking an Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) Compliance Officer to monitor regulatory compliance across gaming and non-gaming areas. You will conduct inspections, investigate incidents, develop safety programs, and train employees to reduce hazards.

Work with department leaders, Risk Management, and regulators to maintain a safe workplace; this role emphasizes ongoing compliance, safety planning, and timely corrective actions.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years related experience in environmental health and safety in a large hospitality/gaming or factory setting.
• Associates or Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Health and Safety, Business, or a related field; or an equivalent combination.
• Program Certificate in Safety Management.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and compliance practices.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine property-wide safety inspections and audits across shifts.
• Monitor compliance with tribal ordinances, compact requirements, and regulations.
• Investigate workplace incidents and perform root cause analysis.
• Develop, implement, and maintain safety programs and training.
• Coordinate safety meetings and employee training on health and safety requirements.
• Liaise with regulatory agencies during inspections and investigations.
