Job summary

Midwest Refrigerated Services, Inc. is seeking a Safety, Health and Compliance professional to oversee safety programs across our warehouse and operations. The role focuses on implementing policies, training, and ensuring compliance at multiple sites, with emphasis on food safety and HACCP.

You will lead incident investigations, maintain records, and build strong working relationships with employees, vendors, and management while supporting a culture of safety and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in safety management, OSH or EHS preferred.
• Experience in safety management.
• Experience overseeing multiple sites.
• Food handling experience.

Responsibilities

• Promote safety culture and ensure policy compliance across locations.
• Train staff on SOPs, food safety, hazard prevention, and forklift certification requirements.
• Investigate workplace incidents and maintain records.
• Maintain HACCP, GMP, allergen controls and sanitation standards.
• Foster relationships with employees, vendors, contractors, and management.
• Monitor equipment use and overall operational performance.
• Coordinate audits with government officials and insurers.
• Travel to multiple facilities as needed.
