Job summary

Midwest Refrigerated Services, Inc. is seeking an experienced Human Resources Manager to lead HR programs, benefits administration, and process improvements across locations.

The role focuses on compliance, training, employee retention, and efficient HR service delivery. The HR Manager will partner with leadership to design and implement HR initiatives, monitor HR metrics, and drive ongoing improvements in benefits, performance reviews, and workforce planning.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
• PHR or SHRM-CP certification is highly preferred.
• Two+ years of self-funded benefits administration experience.
• Five years of HR generalist experience in a multi-state environment, incl. employment law.
• Proficiency with HRIS, LMS, ADP Workforce Now, and applicant tracking systems.

Responsibilities

• Manage company-wide benefits administration processes and enrollment accuracy.
• Analyze benefits data to support changes that improve utilization and control costs.
• Develop retention strategies by analyzing turnover and risks.
• Oversee performance review cycle, timelines, and communications.
• Manage Learning Management System (LMS) and align with HR initiatives.
• Prepare HR metrics reports for leadership and management.
• Support HR projects from planning to execution and implementation across the org.
