Responsibilities

• Oversee and develop company safety programs.
• Investigate incidents and monitor medical care.
• Lead safety inspections, meetings, and training programs.
• Create and conduct new-hire safety orientation.
• Assist HR in hiring/interviewing production personnel for safety requirements.
• Develop light-duty jobs and liaise with physicians.
• Maintain incident paperwork and workers’ comp information.
• Assist in purchasing safety equipment and systems.
• Maintain safety association memberships and stay updated on trends.
• Prepare notices and reports for regulators.
