Job summary

Qualifications

• Strong communication across levels and external partners.
• Professional safety certification required (NSC or equivalent).
• Experience with OSHA and DOT regulations and recordkeeping.
• Ability to prepare reports and training materials with minimal direction.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical expertise to BU leadership to drive safety training programs.
• Ensure loss prevention programs comply with OSHA, DOT, and state/federal rules.
• Monitor program implementation and redirect efforts when targets are missed.
• Support safety meetings and return-to-duty programs with HR and management.
• Assist in investigations of serious accidents and participate in inspections.
