Job summary

DP Electric Inc. is seeking a Safety Coordinator to uphold stringent safety standards across our commercial and industrial projects in the Tempe area.

You will conduct regular inspections, develop and deliver safety programs, and lead training sessions for employees to ensure regulatory compliance and a culture of safety. You will investigate incidents, monitor records, and collaborate with multiple departments to implement improvements.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Seven (7) years of experience in a related field with supervisory experience preferred.
• Proven safety-related background, ideally in supervisory/management role.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Conducts regular safety inspections and audits to identify hazards and improvement areas.
• Collaborates with departments to develop and implement safety programs and initiatives.
• Trains employees on safety protocols and procedures.
• Investigates incidents and near misses to identify root causes and preventive actions.
• Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local safety regulations and standards.
• Maintains records of safety activities, incidents, and training.
