Job summary

Murata Machinery USA is seeking a Safety Administrator to manage site safety, health and environmental requirements during installation and sustaining activities, and to lead safety program development and training.

You will conduct audits and incident investigations, track corrective actions, maintain regulatory records, and coordinate with customers and regulatory agencies. Travel up to 90% domestically may be required.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Safety or equivalent preferred; minimum 2 years in EH&S programs.
• Experience administering environmental, safety and health programs.
• 1 year developing and delivering training; 1–2 years contractor/construction experience.
• Ability to read and interpret specifications; strong analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement MMUSA health and safety policies and procedures.
• Investigate serious injuries and near-misses; conduct root cause analysis.
• Coordinate site safety plans and pre-task reviews.
• Lead safety training, conduct weekly audits, and report findings.
• Liaise with customer personnel and regulatory agencies.
• Maintain records and prepare regulatory reports.
• Travel up to 90% domestically; may require international travel.
