Job summary

DPR Construction seeks an EHS Coordinator in Richmond, VA to support a safe and compliant work environment across projects. You will assist with inspections, training records, incident investigations, and safety communications to keep teams informed and prepared.

You will coordinate PPE distribution, participate in drills, and help prepare internal safety reports. The role requires a high school diploma or GED and 0–4 years in EHS-related roles, with OSHA 30 training preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent experience required.
• 0-4 years of experience in EHS support roles within corporate, industrial, consulting environments, or a related field required.
• OSHA 30-Hour Construction training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assists in conducting routine inspections, audits and other administrative EHS tasks including onboarding.
• Supports the investigation and documentation of incidents, near-misses, and workplace hazards.
• Maintains accurate records of safety training, incidents, and compliance activities.
• Communicates safety procedures and updates to employees to promote understanding and adherence.
• Coordinates the distribution and tracking of personal protective equipment and safety materials.
• Participates in emergency response drills and supports the implementation of corrective actions.
• Contributes to the preparation of reports and summaries for internal review and compliance purposes.
