Job summary

P&E Constructors is an employee-owned mechanical and electrical contractor delivering large projects with a focus on safety, quality, and client solutions. The Safety Administrator supports the Safety Department and project teams through safety data management, reporting, and documentation across the project lifecycle.

This role requires 30-50% travel to project sites, collaboration with stakeholders, and proficiency with safety platforms such as ISN, Avetta, and Velocity, along with

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Foundational knowledge of safety practices and administrative processes.
• Proficiency with safety platforms ISN, Avetta and Velocity.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Strong time management skills and ability to meet deadlines.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and sometimes stressful environment.
• Ability to travel to support project sites or office locations.

Responsibilities

• Provide safety data and information to the Proposal Department
• Maintain current safety statistics
• Assist with updating work hours from COINS into Velocity
• Review customer requirements for safety-sensitive information
• Assist with setting up vendor accounts for occupational clinics
• Ensure Avetta, ISN, and Velocity accounts are established for projects
• Set up accountability and reporting workflows in Velocity for project incident notifications
• Maintain new-hire information and assign appropriate permissions in Velocity
• Enter observation cards into Microsoft Forms
• Maintain project safety statistics for weekly and monthly reporting
• Build and maintain project inspections and audits in Velocity
• Schedule corporate site audits with the Project Manager and Director of Safety
• Receive and organize project documents for final documentation
• Scan and upload project documentation into Procore and Velocity
• Enter historical incident information from periods prior to Velocity
• Enter work hours and personnel files from COINS into Velocity
• Maintain required OSHA training reports and track progress for 10- and 30-hour training
