Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or training in safety, occupational health and safety, or a related field
• Minimum 6 months experience in an onsite-safety compliance role preferred
• Familiar with OSHA standards and other relevant safety regulations
• Excellent written and verbal interpersonal, organizational and communication skills
• Commitment to safety and quality

Responsibilities

• Implement the Company’s established safety policies, procedures, and guidelines in line with local laws and regulations
• Handle all administrative tasks with regards to company safety policy and reporting
• Ensure the highest safety compliance standards and a healthy work setting for staff, visitors and vendors
• Monitoring and staying up to date on safety regulations, codes and standards applicable to the industry
• Support management in investigating accidents, incidents and near-miss events to determine root causes and implementing corrective measures to prevent a recurrence
• Establishing and maintaining effective communication channels with external organisations, such as government bodies, safety organisations and insurance companies
