Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Workplace Health & Safety Specialist to lead safety programs, audits, and risk assessments at our site. You’ll partner with associates and leadership to build a culture where safety and productivity go hand in hand.

The role requires OSHA knowledge (29 CFR 1910), proficiency with Word and Excel, and the ability to handle confidential information. You should be prepared for flexible shifts, including days, nights, and weekends, and for emergency response responsibilities.

Qualifications

• High school or equivalent.
• 1+ year in an EHS-related field, OR a Bachelor’s in EHS background, OR 6 months at Amazon.
• Knowledge of OSHA 29 CFR 1910.
• Experience using Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Experience maintaining confidentiality in matters involving security and/or personnel issues.

Responsibilities

• Lead safety audits, incident investigations, and risk assessments.
• Deliver safety training and drive a proactive safety culture.
• Advocate for associate well-being and build cross-level partnerships.
• Support emergency response and safety communications.
