Job summary

Amazon in DuPont, WA seeks a Workplace Health & Safety Specialist (WHSS) to lead safety programs, audits, and trainings across the site. You will drive a data-driven safety culture, conduct incident investigations, and develop proactive risk controls to protect associates.

As the safety champion, you will build partnerships with frontline teams and leadership, translating safety data into compelling narratives to influence behavior and improve outcomes.

Qualifications

• 1 year in an EHS-related field or 6 months at Amazon in safety
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations 29 CFR 1910
• Experience creating and delivering safety trainings
• Experience handling confidential workplace information
• Strong communication and collaboration skills

Responsibilities

• Lead safety programs with data-driven strategies and audits
• Investigate incidents and perform risk assessments
• Deliver engaging safety trainings to associates
• Advocate for associate wellbeing and safety culture
